La Cabana Aportando Foundation was created to give back to the community. What began in 2023 as a small HR-led initiative grew into a meaningful effort for lasting support. It was officially registered on January 9, 2026.
La Cabana Aportando Foundation was born
from a shared desire to give back to the community that has given us so much.
In 2023, the Human Resources department of La Cabana approached a group of managers with the idea of forming a Focus Group for charity work. What began as a brainstorming session quickly evolved into a collective commitment to structured, meaningful, and sustainable community support.
From this collaboration, the name La Cabana Aportando was chosen
“Aportando” meaning contributing in Papiamento - reflecting both our cultural roots and our purpose.
On January 9, 2026, La Cabana Aportando officially became a legally registered foundation, operating under the name La Cabana Aportando Foundation.
